Join us for an intimate concert of slippery, rhythmic avant-garde jazz played by Reuben Lewis, Helen Svoboda, Emily Bennett & Ronny Ferella.
A beguiling stew of afro-beat, jazz-rock inflected postbop, and electro-acoustic noise." (Andy Hamilton - The Wire)
Returning once more to Boorloo are the quartet formation of I Hold The Lion’s Paw, presented by Tone List and jade//vision.
I Hold The Lion's Paw are a rhythmic avant-garde ensemble. They conjure the spirit of the twisted funk of Miles Davis' On The Corner, Ornette Coleman’s Prime Time and Jon Hassell. They make a bendy, indescribable music: atmospheric, psychedelic, virtuosic, sometimes goofy.
Join us for an intimate concert in Ah Um, an acoustically treated restaurant & listening bar in Northbridge, with DJ sets from jade//vision head honcho cash promise.
