I Hold The Lion's Paw are a rhythmic avant-garde ensemble. They conjure the spirit of the twisted funk of Miles Davis' On The Corner, Ornette Coleman’s Prime Time and Jon Hassell. They make a bendy, indescribable music: atmospheric, psychedelic, virtuosic, sometimes goofy.
